QuickSurvey needs actual documentation
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

QuickSurvey is a unique tool at the foundation that has around three different streams of work:

  1. Survey & research best practices (e.g. question development & analysis)
  2. QuickSurvey implementation (e.g. Preparing the survey, database, and getting the survey out)
  3. Product improvement of QuickSurvey (e.g. product changes, reporting bugs, etc.)

I am working specifically in documenting the first two areas, along with @atgo, who can help to inform the all three. Of course this is an ongoing product, so we will probably be discussing long-term documentation as well.

Previous task description
I saw the post on enwiki's VPT which led to the documentation for this feature.... https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:QuickSurveys/Documentation which actually rather useless for non-technical stakeholders. There is no documentation on how it actually works, how to use it, nor how to view the results.

@egalvezwmf what needs to be done to get this finished up? I see it's marked as completed on the surveys workboard but the meta page still says "draft" ...

hi @Jdlrobson - thanks for the ping. I've noticed there is additional new documentation on the mediawiki page. I focused on putting information on meta. Would be great if it can be reviewed. I think this is done though?
