Description

mw1041 just crashed. The syslog of mw1041 is full of things like this:

Nov 12 16:02:07 mw1041 kernel: [ 1259.192074] mce: [Hardware Error]: Machine check events logged

Almost certainly unrelated, but in order to get sync-common to run gracefully on that server I had to move some files out of the way:

root@mw1041:/srv/mediawiki/docroot/wikipedia.org# mv cases/ ~/filesfromwikipedia.org/

Depooled for now.

Taking this task to troubleshoot.

this server was decommissioned, wiped and removed from rack.
