Description

As a pianist, I would like to have access to a (grand) piano at the Hackathon venue, so that I can contribute music to the event after a long day of (social) hacking.

Background:
The author of this task used to play the grand piano in the church at the venue of the Lyon Hackathon. Some of the cc'd persons were listeners in Lyon. Maybe it would be nice to repeat that, and make it a bit more public. Hanson house looks like it could be equipped with a piano, as it is also used as a concert & art space.

Perhaps it's a bit early for a Hackathon organization task, but I won't be around for some time... Thanks to everyone who can help solving this task :)

Even though I live in the same city, I haven't visited the venue yet, but I hope to do it soon.

If no tuned grand piano can be found there, I shall volunteer to compensate for this partially by bringing to the venue my Roland FP-2 digital piano. It won't be as, um, grand as a real piano, but it produces reasonably listenable sound. (If there's demand, I can also bring some other instruments and maybe some simple amplification.)

I love music.

Thanks, @Amire80, for the kind offer! - Roland FP-2 sounds like a good alternative. A session would be wonderful too, if there are any other developer_musicians. What about you :)? Maybe we could do one or two pieces together ... - I never had a close relationship with scores, but I love improvisation, and I can figure out pieces by ear.

I can almost envision the recording:

Parsoid & Flow -- The RTL Jerusalem Sessions

Don't think there's a piano in the venue (unfortunately). Good thing @Amire80 offers his piano ;)
There should be quite a few places with good acoustics over there, though...
