Proposal:

Creating good WikiProject portals is extremely tedious and time consuming. It requires deep knowledge of WikiText template syntax and how to interface with the numerous tools and bots that exist for WikiProject portal use. Using FormWizard (or a new custom script), a wizard interface could be created for building WikiProject portals which would dramatically simplify the process.

The WPX UI was set up such that a FormWizard could be used to create a WikiProject. FormWizard's purpose basically is to fill out the parameters of a template and then transclude that template on a page. In this instance, the template parameters would be those of {{Load WikiProject Modules}}, and the target page would be the WikiProject page. From there, you would receive guidance on setting up the individual modules. We were supposed to get this done in round 1 of our grant but we ran out of time.
