So, we got an LDAP server in production that mirrors ldap1.corp.wikimedia.org. That is to avoid very expensive SMTP checks or high latency LDAP checks to OIT's LDAP servers .

And seems like that does not work anymore

So, there is no way for production to get the new users. @JGulingan that probably is the reason for the problem reported. Can you look into it or should we submit a ticket with OIT ?
