@MSyed this needs context and clarity before we can really do anything with it. What search page? Why are we comparing these things?

This task was filed when we were trying to decide whether we wanted to invest significant resources in overhauling the search results page on-wiki in Q3. In the end, we decided against that, making this task redundant. Declining accordingly.
