Most templates on enwiki have a documentation page on a /doc subpage of the template.

When adding or editing a template using VE it would be convenient if a link to this documentation could be provided.

Perhaps a special page could be used to specify the name of the subpage (e.g. "doc") and then if this subpage exists, there could be a note at the top of the box which suggests referring to the documentation.
