turn-up/implement zayo wave (579171) for ulsfo-codfw
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

This is the tracking task for the technical implementation of the new zayo wave (579171) for ulsfo-codfw. The pricing and billing considerations are tracked on the procurement task T116036. The actual implementation is tracked on this public task (rather than hidden on the procurement task.)

This task will have blockers including the procurement tasks (which will remain open while the invoices are processed, up to a month), as well as the on-site implementation tasks. When both on-site implementation tasks are complete and the cross-connections are patched in, @faidon will be able to process this task and turn up the wave.

All procurement and onsite patch tasks have been completed. (They don't show resolved since they sit in the pending invoice column for a month pending invoice.) @faidon should be able to proceed with this turnup.

This is supposed to be turned up already, as confirmed with both our delivery manager and Zayo's call center. In anyh case, me and their customer support filed a ticket for their optical team though to confirm that everything is as it's supposed to be. This is ticket #931385 on their end.

This has been up and used for traffic since 2016-02-04 21:21Z:
21:21 paravoid: setting up OSPF/OSPF3/PIM between ulsfo and codfw (cr2-ulsfo/cr1-codfw)

However, (e)BGP was still pending, which I finished setting up just now.

The link is fully in production now :)
