The local chapter (WM-CL), will host an editing workshop and an edit-a-thon event at Coyhaique on January 19, 2016.
This event will include a an Editing Workshop and an Edit-a-thon (both on the 19), with editors working together to learn or improve their editing skills, and then to create or improve articles related to Aysén, the region where the event is being hosted. It seems that this would be the most Southern edit-a-thon ever held.
We are expecting about 40 people to attend. One of the things we'd like to do is encourage potential newbie participants to create their own accounts during the session and learn editing, guided by some active editors.
