Put saved pages on the watchlist (if the user is logged in) or save the "Saved pages" somewhere else
Closed, DuplicatePublic

Description

I thought we have a task for this already, but couldn't find it. A user suggested (OTRS link), that pages he save in the app, should be added to the watchlist of the currently logged in user. I like this idea, what do you think? Another suggestion is (several times) to save the pages somewhere else (if not on the watchlist) to synchronize them between different devices and/or after an uninstall and re-install of the app.

Hi, I'm the user who did this request.
I'd like to specify my idea : it could be useful to add an article to the watchlist without saving it locally, for example if I don't want to use too many storage space on my smartphone. So maybe there should be 2 different actions :

  • Save the page (without adding it to the watchlist)
  • Favorite the article (like on the website), if I want to add it to the watchlist only

What do you think about it?
