This is in 1.9.2 and 1.10. Code looks like:

$wgMemCachedDebug = false; # Will be set to false in Setup.php, if the server isn't working
$wgMemCachedServers = array( '127.0.0.1:11000' );
$wgMemCachedDebug = false;

These are lines 620-622 in DefaultSettings.php version 1.10.
