@JAufrecht can you describe what needs review and provide any relevant links?

I think the scope of review is, are we satisfied that the criteria are all met?

Summary: We have about 19 Milestones/Deliverables/Objectives for Q3, of which 11 are represented in Phabricator. We also have roughly a hundred Phabricator tasks relevant to Q3, but only half of them are tied to those Deliverables, and of that half, two fifths are categorized in the "Other" bucket. Is it worth it to spend any more time trying to categorize?

  • Synchronize https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Team_Practices_Group/Goals/FY2016Q3 with Phabricator
    • Each item (Milestone or Initiative) on the wiki page that has a matching Phab task has a link to that task
      • As of Feb 10, the following items on the wiki page don't have Phab Milestone tasks. Should they?
      • Research offsite to be facilitated 1st week of Feb , Research offsite to be facilitated 1st week of Feb
      • WMF Strategy facilitated this quarter.
      • 5 teams Agile Coached this quarter: VE, Engagement Metrics, Discovery, Research & Data, Design Research.
      • 3 teams Scrum Mastered this quarter: fr-tech, iOS, Android.
      • 3 teams mentored in team practices: Analytics Engineering, Designers, OIT, Wikipedia Education Program/Dashboard
      • Weekly engineering-wide Scrum of Scrums facilitated.
      • 3 mini iOS onsites facilitated.
      • TPG managed this quarter.
    • Each TPG Milestone Phab task has a matching entry on the wiki page
  • All open TPG tasks are categorized by Milestone
    • Currently (| See chart) there are I think 35 categorized tasks (open or resolved) belonging to Q3 Milestones, 21 (open or resolved) categorized as "Other Q3", 337 other (open or resolved) tasks in TPG, and 76 open tasks on the Team-Practices and Team-Practices-This-Week boards. But a) I got these numbers through a mix of eyeballing and queries, and b) we don't actually have an easy way to count how many uncategorized tasks there are (the 76 can't be compared to 35+21 because 76 is open and 35+21 is open+resolved), so the best we can say without further investment is that maybe a third of our Q3 Phab tasks are categorized to match our goals.

JAufrecht moved this task from Needs Review to Done on the Team-Practices (This-Week) board.

Good enough; we will try to categorize new TPG work as it is triaged, and old TPG work as it is declared done. We won't work any further to categorize existing TPG work other than that.
