When @mforns tried setting up the dev environment for wikimetrics on his ubuntu14.04 machine - it fails with the error - cannot link to a non running container when doing docker-compose up. Docker-version 1.9.1, compose version 1.5.2.

I tried the same inside a VM with ubuntu14.04 and it works fine. I have the same docker and compose versions in the VM. It also works on my Mac setup inside Dockermachine with the same versions.

Steps to setup:

• Setup docker-engine and docker-compose
• Get wikimetrics - https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/admin/projects/analytics/wikimetrics
• Get the gerrit patch with docker and compose files - https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/267172/
• cd into wikimetrics directory
• docker-compose build
• docker-compose up -> if all is good all services should start up fine and no error stacktraces are thrown, if not - it exits with some error.
