FWIW, it would be good if this extension could be installed from git with e.g.

git clone --depth 1 --branch REL1_26 https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/p/mediawiki/extensions/Usage_Statistics

Yes, that extension most likely doesn't work. I fixed the link you're talking about, but I also marked the extension as "unmaintained", since the extension hasn't been updated since 2011, and our SVN installation has been read-only since 2012.

If you, or another user, is interested in fixing the extension so it works correctly, feel free to request that it be imported into Git by posting at this page.
