Scoring for a new language?
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Hi... I was just wondering how one would go about enabling the scoring for a new language, so that it can be used with Huggle?

Hi...

To quality, I'm talking about no.wikipedia.org, that does not have scoring enabled.

Hello, I don't understand this, huggle 3 is scoring every edit, there is no way to turn it off, so it's totally enabled on every wiki. Are you talking about ORES scoring?

@Halfak: do we have it enabled on nowiki? :o

So far, ORES doesn't have the basic models set up for nowiki yet. There is a Wiki labels campaign for getting training data though. See https://no.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Etiketter So far, we have 881/5000 edits labeled. See http://labels.wmflabs.org/campaigns/nowiki/27/?campaign=stats

Hi...

Yeah, I guess I mean the ORES... I get an error message in Huggle that scoring is not enabled, so I'm assuming that's what I'm referring to...

What is required as a next step to get this up and running?

For getting basic ORES scoring support, we need to finish T131855. Then we'll start building models for nowiki.

To get the higher-quality damaging and goodfaith models, we need to complete T130268.

Hi... I've started working on this, so we're currently just over 1000/5000.

Looks like we have a nowiki model, now. Thanks for the nudge!
