I'd rather not, for several reasons. First, this requires touching SGE config files, which is always risky. Secondly, this can easily cause users to e.g. start using -f by default, leaving all kinds of processes stuck on hosts. Finally, qdel not functioning is typically a symptom of a bigger issue, so having an admin take a look is a good thing.
