Subsequent edits are under two usernames after global renaming
Closed, InvalidPublic

Description

Yesterday I globally renamed https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:CentralAuth/NeuroproteXeon to https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:CentralAuth/Macbflo. I didn't get any errors while renaming and I thought it was succesful.

Now, however, when we look at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/NeuroproteXeon (old username) there are shown edits made by the renamed user after the rename. There is a message that "User account "NeuroproteXeon" is not registered. "
The same subsequent edits (made after the rename) are also shown under the user's new name https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/Macbflo

It was reported on my user talk page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Stryn#Unsuccessful_rename.3F

Right now there's no edits under https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/NeuroproteXeon username. Maybe issue got automatically resolved.
