Description

Chrome 48.0.2564.116 m in Win 8.
The Disabling VE temporarily option doesn't work.
Random page (after choosing that option) only shows the Edit tab; if I try to switch immediately from the button on the toolbar,
an empty page will load (only the title is shown), and I can't edit it.
Only workaround: doing something minor while in VE, just to prompt the Edit button, then hitting the Switch button and keeping changes.

Other SET options when VE is enabled also don't work; the Remember one won't remember, the 2 tabs don't appear, etc.

EDIT: I get weird things in FF as well while logged in, so editing the task accordingly.

Now testing in Opera, Show me 2 tabs option on:
Can't see the 2 tabs.
In my sandbox, I click on Edit source: WT opens, but tab label now says Edit.
Hitting Random page will show Edit source on some articles, Edit on others: in any case, only WT will be launched.

Still on Opera:
other SET prefs also don't seem to work.
After disabling VE temporarily, hitting Random Page will give random results (2 tabs, or just the Edit tab, or just Edit source).
Clicking on Edit does launch the visual editor.
Will do other tests in incognito mode.

If you tick "A vizuális szerkesztő ideiglenes letiltása, amíg béta állapotban van" ("Temporarily disable the visual editor while it is in beta") then you will never get the blank page.
Multiple tabs option gives me two tabs (Chrome).

I am aware of the fact that not everyone may be able to reproduce, but on my computer, with the config described above, that's what I see.
FWIW, editing as an IP looks fine in Chrome. I don't think I have any other useful information for now.

Right now I can't reproduce anymore.

I thought that the Edit tab was supposed to be labelled Edit source when it actually invokes the WT editor though?

This particular problem has already been reported into our bug tracking system as T128275, but please feel free to report any further issues you find. Further handling of the reported issue happens in T128275.
