"Are you sure you want to leave this page" while trying to save Preferences

Description

When I try to change my Preferences and click on Save,
that message shows up in Safari.
I click on "Leave the page", and get the notification that my changes were saved (they actually were).
Don't know if it's related to T128275.

The problem with the dialog appearing, even if no settings were changed, is T122702: Special:Preferences asks for form data save confirmation beforeunload even if nothing was changed
I think this task is about something else. (I cannot reproduce it in Firefox, and I don't have Safari.)
