Can't scroll to to top of Explore tab by pressing status bar after 3D-peek

Description

  1. 3D-peek on an article from the Explore tab [Figure 1]
  2. It is now impossble to press the status bar to scroll to the top

Cannot reproduce with 5.0.0.775.
Can reproduce with 5.0.0.790.

Reminder to self - make sure testing criteria I add include *both* ways to tests this.

Testing criteria:


  • peek an article on the explore feed and pop to the article
  • return to explore feed from the article view
  • tap status bar at very top of screen
  • ensure explore feed scrolls to top

  • peek an article on the explore feed but don't press so hard that it pops to the article and lift finger so explore re-appears
  • tap status bar at very top of screen
  • ensure explore feed scrolls to top

Note: a different code path is responsible for each test case above, so please ensure both are tested.

Tested on an iPhone 7+ with iOS 10.3 on Beta App 5.5.0 (1138)

Looks fixed.
