So here's the link: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Discovery/FAQ

Oh, ha, just saw that Shirayuki edited to add the info to the description. I'm slow.

Steps 1 and 2 were successful for me (the page was listed among corrupted pages because), I got to https://www.mediawiki.org/w/index.php?title=Special:PageTranslation&do=unmark&target=Wikimedia+Discovery%2FKnight+FAQ&revision=-1 and the result was as expected: https://www.mediawiki.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Log&page=Wikimedia+Discovery%2FKnight+FAQ

Please reopen if you still see the issue. If the "automatic" unmarking doesn't work, try removing all the translate tags as you used to have to.

I thought "Please confirm the action." a generic error message.

If not an error, the message should be like "Are you sure you unmark the page AAAA from translation?".

The steps to reproduce are not clear. Special:SpecialPages should be Special:PageTranslation. At step 3 I get the correct confirmation for unmarking with red button both JavaScript and without.

Red button?
I get the following message with blue button:

Page translation
Please confirm the action.
[Confirm]

Clicking "Confirm" successfully removes the page from translation.

Are you perhaps talking about the discourage feature instead of the completely removal? In that case the blue confirmation form is expected if you do not have JavaScript enabled or there are JavaScript error.
