etags for wikidata API

Description

For a project I'm doing I'm going to end up calling the wikidata api quite often. It would be incredibly nice if it supported etags (if-none-match) for wbsearchentities.

Can this be done or is this on the roadmap?

I'm aware this is now 2 years on, was this specifically for wbsearchentities or for more API modules?
Unfortunately I don't think this is high on the priority list.

This is not something that we are going to consider with the existing Action API.
However things like this have been considered in the design of the new REST API
