Language-switcher-related build failure
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

The "Checking that the preferred language link has been created" scenario regularly fails during integration builds, e.g.

, which is from mwext-mw-selenium #4927.

I've verified that the preferred languages functionality works on the Beta Cluster, so I suspect that this failure is local to the integration build environment.

Event Timeline

Verified that that the preferred languages feature works locally on master and with 278729 cherry-picked.

This is now blocking a number of changes from being merged.

I agree. None of the steps before "When I click on a language from the list of all languages" assert that there are languages in the list.

Edit

N.B. that I don't mean to imply that this a Bad Thing™.
