This is a feature request so no steps to reproduce
But I tested VectorBeta and the bug todo with https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:UniversalLanguageSelector doesn't show and I can click on it and it opens seems the bug was fixed.
I would like to get users to test the fixedheaders and compactpersonalbar.
VectorBeta was disabled due to no longer being maintained and was abandoned by the relevant team(s) at the foundation (See: T87489: Undeploy VectorBeta?).

Please keep those changes in VectorBeta. If we wanted to surface them we would want to put them out for more beta testing again.
VectorBeta is no longer supported or under development. It was removed 26 months ago from Wikimedia sites. Hence declining its remaining open tasks to reflect reality.
