A couple of people came talking to me about the Monuments database. Let’s have a meeting over lunch to discuss things? Would that wok for everyone?

General notes

André : We have been meaning to move data to Wikidata. WMSE has got funding to make it happen. How do we go from here
Strainu: Data is uneven (not necessarily a primary key etc) how will that happen?
Maarten & André : That will have to happen on a per-source basis.
Gabriel: At WMDE last year we supported WLM but without the Monuments Database. How does it work?
André & Maarten: *summarsie the workings of ErfgoedBot
André: We will be adding at least 10 new sources over the next year, from endangered
Gabriel : Presesntation of WMDE work
- 1/ A bot to build lists of missing monuments
  - → Covered by Monuments DB
- 2/ A bot to find “broken” lists: missings IDs, etc.
  - → Some of it might be covered by the Monuments DB, but rough around the edges in any case
- 3/ Have Commons uploads to almost immediately appear on the lists: at the end of the upload, users could select which image to add to the list, or to replace the existing one
  - → A very nice feature. Definitely controversal, but countries could opt-out.
