The Android beta app currently loads the page "Rigoletto" as the "article of the day", while the current article is "Apple". It seems to work for enwiki and for the stable version of the app.

@mobrovac, @Pchelolo — this looks like another case of T126979: [Bug] Still loading a stale Main Page with content service enabled, but (so far) specific to German Wikipedia. I confirmed a minute ago that "Rigoletto" still loads as Today's Featured Article for dewiki. Enwiki is OK, as noted above.

This was a consequence of T129532 and https://github.com/wikimedia/restbase/pull/548, which disabled pre-generation and updates for namespaces other than main.
We discussed & agreed to re-enable pre-generation (and thus updates) for all namespaces.
