Hidden template errors are shown in Google search summaries
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

In this revision of the article on Beyoncé, there was an error with the infobox template, which resulted in some errors suppressed with CSS (grep "HIDDEN ERROR" in the page source). For some reason, Google used the hidden errors as their search result summary, as shown in the attached screenshot. (At the time the search was performed, the problematic revision was the latest one.) Is there some way we can prevent this?

This seems to be resolved, per followup at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Module_talk:Check_for_unknown_parameters#Polluting_content
and https://www.google.ca/search?q=%22HIDDEN+ERROR%22+site:en.wikipedia.org no longer produces thousands of results - The remaining ~1000 results are primarily on talk/categorytalk pages; There are/were a dozen or so articles amongst them, but I've now fixed all the template errors that were causing them.
