Having an issue with installations. The hit TFTP okay and "install" but are in a continious pxe loop. I checked bios and they pxe is the last option. I tried to force a boot to HDD but it failed and went right to pxe. I think it may have something to do with the Legacy Bios mode or the RAID. I see this message during post
292 - Invalid HPE Software RAID Configuration. HPE B140i SW RAID Mode is NOT
supported when the Boot Mode is configured for legacy BIOS Mode.
Action: Configure the Boot Mode to UEFI Mode if using HPE SW RAID.
I attempted to change to the UEFI on elastic1047 and install and that didn't get to the installer at all.
FIgured out the problem. I updated elastic1047 and it installed w/out a problem. I need to fix the other 15.
unning a System ROM Version 1.32 (or later) dated March 5, 2015 (03-05-2015) or later, perform the following:
From the System Utilities screen, select System Configuration BIOS/Platform Configuration
(RBSU) > System Options SATA Controller Options > Enable HP Dynamic Smart Array RAID Support and press Enter.
Select Enable HP Dynamic Smart Array RAID Support and press Enter:
Press F10 to save selection.
Reboot the server for the change to take effect.
