Description

Special editor or similar for the input of pronunciations using IPA/SAMPA, with feedback
Existing: No
To do: STTS makes an editor (which Wikimedia can then productify/integrate as needed), and a web based solution which calls the Wikispeech-server and handles/validates transcriptions as input, looks up in the lexicon of pronunciations to give the user example transcriptions, and synthesises transcriptions for feedback to the user, or feeds recorded examples to the user (see Property 7). Validation is language specific and needs to be developed as part of the process for “New Language”.

Identified as a component during the pilot study.

Yes, there is definitely an overlap. I think that this was intended as a subtask to T133865 earlier, but that was perhaps an artificial division.

There is one thing in the description.

looks up in the lexicon of pronunciations to give the user example transcriptions

I'm not sure what this exactly means. Is it: when you enter a transcription, you get suggestions for similar transcriptions that you might want to use instead?
