The goal is to make the availability of the gom-latn interface language more prominent for users.
Previous task https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T105124 to set ULS position in the personal toolbar was declined, but it would suffice if the selector could be more prominent even if it remains in the interlanguage position.
The problem is that the link to the language selector in interlanguage position is just a small and easy-to-miss gear wheel icon. Many people think that this icon has something to do with the interlanguage links. Contrast this with the link in the personal toolbar position where there is a language change icon and the name current language, or consider how AnonymousI18n.js shows up with the name of the current language and the select button.
Hence, please consider changing making the link to ULS in the interlanguage position more prominent by displaying the name of the current language and/or displaying text like 'select interface language' and/or using a suitable icon.
