Project Name: code-testcluster
Purpose: As explained here (E179#2049) it's difficult to have a chance to review core changes fast, and safety. Not all people have a good test enviourment. So I want to setup one labs instance (I think medium should be enough, maybe two or three instances later) to setup a wiki cluster only for this code testing. The name of the project is just a first idea too. If you create this project, I would create a small cluster with vagrant and centralauth and a few other extensions. The plan is to add trusted people, to provide a quick way to test new patches:
- Update repos to the master
- Fetch a patch
- and test it
This would support for example the code review offices hours, so people can quick test a patch, and we can make more reviewers happy. I would maintain that cluster, and write a quick guide at wikitech, if you think that idea is ok. (The name of the project can be the proposed one, but better names are welcome too).
