Videos are convenient to communicate some interaction concepts. It would be great to provide such info in context.
It seems that Phabricator allows to embed Youtube videos (through the "remarkup.enable-embedded-youtube" flag).
Would it be possible to enable this option on the Wikimedia instance?

That would be good to check. I think hosting them would be problematic, linking them seems not to be, but embedding falls somewhere in the middle.
In case the concerns are confirmed, I proposed a more general task (T135757). Which I think it's preferred, but it definitely seems to require upstream work.

^ so without that they store information even if you don't play it. and they still do once you play it. ?
It would be good to confirm whether Phabricator supports Youtube embedding in a privacy-sensitive way.
For example, DukDuckGo informs the user about Youtube tracking and lets the user make a choice:
If that is not the case in Phabricator, we may want to request that upstream.
We are adding support for embedding videos from Wikimedia Commons, which should satisfy the same need without the privacy concerns.
