At the Wikimania 2016 Hackathon, I'm hoping to work on a tool to make it easier for affiliates to build reports on how their Chapter (or how Wikimedia itself) is perceived in the media. To do this, I'll be working on the media reports tool developed during my time with the Wikimedia Communications department.

Current issues are noted at Github, but I'm hoping for fresh perspectives and ideas on how to better the software. (For example, my PHP is terrible, and this might benefit from more external scraping mechanisms etc.)

Current code for this project is available on Github. There are some quirky things that probably need to be taken out before it's used more widely. ;)
