User Story: I want to get a quick overview of revisions and their data, e.g. to spot edits of a certain user.
Current State: The popup is preferably centered relative to the revision's bar in the revision slider diagram.
Problem: The position of the left edge (vice versa for RTL-languages) is depended on two things, the position of the bar (this is predictable) and the content of the popup (not predictable for the user). This makes it hard to scane since the position to start reading may jump significant distances.
Suggestion: Prefer a constant position of the left edge of the popup relative to the bar.
Background: The RevisionSlider is a feature to fulfill one of the top wishes of the German Community wishlist[1]. It is inspired by DerHexer's revisionjumper gadget. The revision slider allows people to see edit summaries and navigate through revisions from the diff page.
