"Switch to VisualEditor" flow conflicts with onboarding flow
Open, LowPublic1 Estimated Story Points

Description

When you create a new account on English Wikipedia, you're given the option to edit an article that needs work. That onboarding flow also triggers a guiding tour of the edit screen. Unfortunately it clashes a bit with the "Switch to VisualEditor" popup -- if you choose that option, the "preview" guider continues to hover even in the VE screen where it is no longer relevant (see screenshot).

Steps to reproduce:

  1. make a new account
  2. choose the option to edit an assigned article that needs work
  3. choose the "Switch to VisualEditor" option
