Description

I went to check out the maps that were demoed at Metrics this morning on my phone and found that the background doesn't seem to load. I'm on the WMF wifi, so I think it should be pretty speedy. Tried reloading a number of times.

I couldn't reproduce this on my Nexus 5, but I verified that it is happening on another Android device. When I had the problem, when I was scrolling around there was a scroll bar on the right side of my screen like the window was poorly sized and that was introducing the weird behaviour.

@JGirault This is one for you to look at, when you get a chance. :-)
