So, @Amire80 told us in T135416 that Israeli donors often will enter their name in Hebrew in the 'contact' form, then enter their name in latin characters for the cardholder name field. We made a special exception to show (and not autofill) the name box for Hebrew speakers, while we hide the box for all others.
Should we ask a few more folks from Israel what they'd expect?
Ah, it's good to know the localization. I will ask two community members listed in Jessica's contacts doc what they would expect from a Hebrew form.
One community member replied:
Automatic filling of the cardholder name to match the donor name would be great :-)
And the second added:
//Israeli credit card services usually accept your name in both Hebrew and English.
If you want the process to be more friendly in term of UX maybe the name should be automagically filled when you type both your name and surname.
BUT if the field already has text in it, the name won't be filled so after typing your name for the first time this field should contain your name in it but after that you're on your own :) //
A small sample but they are in favor of autofilling.
