reinstall maps-test200[1234] with RAID
Closed, InvalidPublic

Description

maps-test200[1234].codfw.wmnet does not have any RAID per the parent task

can we just re-install these test servers or would things need to be saved first?

would we be talking hardware or software RAID.. and which level makes sense

And smartctl -a /dev/sg1 | grep Serial will return the Serials of the 2 drives. Our detecting seems to have failed us here.

So the controller is a Serial Attached SCSI controller: LSI Logic / Symbios Logic SAS2008 PCI-Express Fusion-MPT SAS-2 [Falcon] (rev 03)

it is supported by the mpt3sas on 4.4 kernels (which seems to be merge of mpt2sas and mpt3sas) and mpt2sas on 3.19 kernels. Relevant info page http://hwraid.le-vert.net/wiki/LSIFusionMPTSAS2
