Fast flick down on explore feed causes it to temporarily get stuck loading previous day's results
Closed, InvalidPublic

Description

If you load up the explore feed for the first time, and flick down really fast, the feed shoots down and then abruptly stops whilst it's loading the previous day's content. The resulting experience is a bit slow and jarring.

Potential solution: given that the spacing and shape of content is relatively deterministic, you could put placeholders in that are then populated once the data comes in. The iOS app does something like this to keep the scrolling fluid and smooth.

For a while, I did not notice because I did not open the Wikipedia application,

Previously, why did you lose the ability to look back many days?

It was easy to see the records that came in from searches such as Google, and it was fun to think about the topics that were listed even if I did not understand it well.

I can no longer reproduce this. Maybe it got fixed at some point.
