I imagine https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Schema:ImageMetricsLoadingTime and https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Schema:ImageMetricsCorsSupport from searching the Schema namespace.

We're collecting similar data through mmv.logging.PerformanceLogger. I think that's sufficient sampling to catch a regression, even if it's only requests coming from Media Viewer. I don't currently use the ImageMetrics data, I'm fine with the extension being undeployed.
