ConfirmAccount no longer works on 1.27?

Description

Today we updated our wiki from 1.26.2 to 1.27. There are problems with some extensions, but the most critical problem is that the ConfirmAccount extension no longer works!

After submitting the request, the page fails to load.

Is this a familiar bug? Can we somehow update this extension so that it will work with 1.27?

Also ChangeAuthor extension is no longer working. Is it related to https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T137843?

Yes, in which case, this bug is a dupe. And it looks like the changeauthor extension was left back on SVN, so is likely woefully out of date.
