Yeah, this is a pattern we see often with ganglia :/ Sometimes it gets fixed by restarting the ganglia-monitor service, sometimes it requires tricky work on the brokers. I'll try the local ganglia-monitor services first right now.

ganglia-monitor restart doesn't seem to have fixed it. I'm not even sure I remember who knows how to fix the brokers best. Maybe @Dzahn knows?

Since ganglia is being phased out, should we just close this task and move on to prometheus?

I think so, yes. We already have the "is deprecated" message up on Ganglia web UI since a while and it's what Bblack said above, and i don't know much more than restarting them either.

Let's review this in next maps standup and close if we agree.
