"package mediawiki/mediawiki could not be found in any version"

This happens on master and in release 1.27:

[~/www/wiki-27/extensions/Collection]# php ../../composer/composer.phar update
Loading composer repositories with package information
Updating dependencies (including require-dev)
Your requirements could not be resolved to an installable set of packages.

Problem 1

  • The requested package mediawiki/mediawiki could not be found in any version, there may be a typo in the package name.

I don't think so. I updated a bunch of extensions in a wiki and this extension was the only one with this error.

I don't see any other extension listing mediawiki in require (maybe some of the Semantic extensions do, I dunno. No recent versions checked out other than that's in gerrit), only Wikidata listing it in in a conflict, and then it's < 1.25

I'm just gonna remove the attribute

@Raymond, what version of composer were you using?

Ah, nvm. Running composer in the extension root doesn't work with the mediawiki/mediawiki dependency. But since there's already a wfUseMW call in the extension, it can safely be removed, which Reedy did.
