Description

To reproduce:

Translate https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cascade_de_Gairaut to English
Go to the paragraph that begins with "L'ensemble des bassins, cascades" and ends with "28 novembre 2001", after which there is a footnote.

Observe: The date cannot be edited because it's a template. It's also impossible to delete without also deleting the footnote.

Expected: It should at least be possible to delete the date template without deleting the reference.

(As a workaround, it's possible to click the footnote in the source column and re-add it, but it's not entirely intuitive.)
