A quick update (from T315866) to mention that mysqld_exporter supports checking (pt-)heartbeat too and export metrics from it via collect.heartbeat option

Clarification: Note pt-heatbeat is very close, but not the same as wmf-pt-heartbeat. Changes were requested for mw reasons. This is why this is stuck (not just a trivial config).

Thank you for the clarification, I wasn't aware we're running a pt-heartbeat fork. Happy to brainstorm/braindump ideas if e.g. nowadays we could get away with stock and updated pt-heartbeat instead.
