Tell the communities that the 2017 wikitext editor is available for testing as a Beta Feature.
I think a recorded Tech Talk focusing on demoing the product would be very useful. An IRC office hour when most people haven't seen or used the new editor probably less so.
The current version can be seen via Beta Features at https://en.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org/wiki/Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-betafeatures
Enable the "new wikitext editor" item, go to http://en.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org/wiki/World?action=edit (for example) and see what it looks like when you switch back and forth.
