I am reading Phab email threads in my Gmail WMF account.
I notice that sometimes the icon next to the name of the person who filed or commented a task is not the usual grey silhouette, but a grey octagon with a red question mark on it.
On hover, the message in this task's title appears.
So far, I haven't been able to figure out why a distinction is made. A person commenting twice in the thread may have the silhouette icon the first time and the octagon the second.
It's not also not always/only the task creator.

Confirming on my end (I notice it when reading bugmail on my phone via the gmail app).
Based off of:

then

then

this seems to be a SPF/DKIM related issue.
This will probably be resolved once T116805 is resolved.

Can confirm. I have phabricator.wikimedia.org whitelisted, otherwise my phab notification would be sent to spam. Maybe we should consider this as an UBN, as most probably this sends emails for some users to spam.
