Notify users when a page on their watchlist has been damaged
Open, LowPublic

Description

From https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Talk:ORES_review_tool

Recently, a one-use IP deleted a Talk page post I wrote on a politically-related article. Another WP member reverted the deletion then explained to me later what happened. I was notified by email that there was a change, but not that my post had been axed. Can this ORES tool detect something like and notify me of it?

We should be able to send a notification to an editor when a page on their watchlist has been damaged. We'll want to provide a setting to keep these types of notifications to a minimum, so we'll want to use a strict (ultra-high precision) threshold -- like recall_at_fpr(max_fpr=0.1).

Halfak triaged this task as Low priority.Sep 8 2016, 2:49 PM

I triaged this "low" for #revision-scoring-as-a-service because it'll be hard for us to pick this up and we have other things to do first. But it might be easier and/or higher priority for the Collaboration-Team-Triage, so feel free to re-triage if that is the case.
