Media settings > Advanced settings > Image size: Those numbers are confusing
Open, Needs TriagePublic

Description

  1. Go here: Insert > Media > Media settings > Advanced settings.
  2. Click on "Basic".
  3. Notice that you need to change the numbers in "Image size".
  4. Try to select them.

Are they really there (and just can't be selected), or is that some kind of grayed-out example text? If the latter, could they please disappear when I click inside the box?

This is the opposite of the other task, where you asked for the placeholder for category sort keys to be instantiated when you click on it. This is a placeholder where we already do that. Which one do you want?

Go here: Insert > Media > Media settings > Advanced settings.

This does not exist. What are steps to reproduce? Is this task still valid?

This is the opposite of the other task,

Which one? T145339: Make editing sortkeys easier in the Categories dialog by using the article title as the default value?

There have been some changes, but the problem still exists.

If you edit an image, and click on the "Advanced" tab, towards the bottom you'll see a bit that looks like this:

The "220" looks like something that should be editable. However, you can't edit it. You have to first click on "Custom", and then you're allowed to edit it. Maybe clicking there should automatically switch it to "Custom"? Or a message should appear to say that if you want to change this, you need to first click "Custom"?
