Display some more information about the images in the gallery dialog

Description

Like T145246: Provide some more room for search results in the gallery dialog, this might also be solvable with T64677: VisualEditor: Merge the media editing and gallery editing dialogs.

When I select images for a gallery, I can't see, much less copy, the image descriptions. Or the complete file names. Or open the images in another tab. This makes it difficult to select the correct image in some cases, and impossible to write accurate captions in others. I want to see and to be able to copy the kind of information that the Media dialog gives me, or at least to be able to open the regular File: description page in another tab.

How about making a description page, with a "use this image" button, similar to the one in the media dialog?

Links to the image file pages for images already in the gallery would be helpful too.

I think that making the description page similar to the media dialog would be great.

Also, I'd like to see rich editing of captions (the words underneath the image, not the title at the top of the whole gallery, which is also called a caption), which is another helpful feature in the media settings dialog. (The obvious use cases include italicizing titles of artwork without having to enter ''wikitext''.)

+1 to rich text caption editing. See T149602
